We’re a local dog bakery and pet store located in San Antonio, TX. Family owned and operated since 2013. We’re celebrating 10 years! Specializing in dog cakes, pastries, treats, chews. Recently added cat treats to our selection.
We love all dogs (and cats) so we make it our mission to make only the best stuff! We know that our dogs health is a reflection of what they eat. Our dog bakery began with a simple concept: to make the best possible dog treats for our FURiends to enjoy and stay healthy.
Our products include nutrient-rich dog biscuits, chews, pastries. We bake birthday cakes, cupcakes and cookies that are delicious and doggie approved!
Everything we make is 100% all-natural, made in small batches with simple, fresh, human-grade ingredients. There are no hidden ingredients and are made without preservatives, chemicals, or fillers. Our ingredients are from local sources and include fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and herbs to maximize nutritional value.
Our Canine Cuisine Chef, Alexis is culinary trained and has created some very PUPular pastries for your FURiends to enjoy, including dog cakes, EmPAWnadas, S’mores, PUPtarts, PUPeroni Pizza, Dog Conchas, PUPcakes, and so many more!
We also carry premium cat treats, and fun toys for your PAWsitively PURRfect pets to enjoy.
Our founder, Alexis Quiroga, believes in supporting animal rescue efforts and donates to organizations throughout the year and has done so from the beginning.
A Word From Our Founder
Hello FURiends and family! I’m Alexis Quiroga, the founder of PAWsitively Sweet Bakery, a healthy dog bakery and boutique. I am a young entrepreneur living my dream of offering quality, nutritious food options for dogs and loving every minute of it! My dog’s name is Sakari, she’s a German & White Shepherd mix I adopted in 2013. I was lucky to have Delilah, Rat Terrier from 2006-2021 and Sadie, Labrador Retriever that was our store greeter from 2016-2021. Along the way, I’ve also had many lovable cats. They have made my life complete and inspire me daily.
Ever since I can remember, I have always had a deep affection for all animals and a passion for baking. During middle school, I started my first business and donated all my proceeds to local animal rescue organizations. After high school, I attended the International Culinary School and worked as a pie shop baker before starting my own dog bakery. Those experiences lead me to the decision to start my own dog bakery. I am so happy that I took the leap since it’s been a fantastic adventure that keeps on getting better every day!
Every product I create is premium, limited ingredient and naturally healthy, without fillers and preservatives. I source all the ingredients from my home state of Texas. I have worked with local food artisans for jelly, barbecue sauce and other delicious ingredients. All products are made in small batches weekly so freshness is guaranteed.
My goal is to offer dog owners healthy and nutritious options that dogs love. All products have been approved even by the most finicky dogs. I love it when I hear “My dog never likes treats but he went crazy over your treats! What’s in them?”
Other customers tell me how grateful they are to find treats and chews that are good for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies. Most of all they love that I formulate them all with only the very basic ingredients.
