Fleas are very harmful to our pets and can cause flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), cat scratch disease, and anemia. Ticks can spread dangerous and possibly fatal Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, and Babesiosis.
Most commercial flea/tick preventatives you find at big box retailers contain lots of chemical. They work by penetrating your pets bloodstream that will kill the fleas/ticks upon ingestion of their bloodstream.
